Services
An acupuncture/acupressure/Reiki treatment session, including the consultation and full assessment, lasts up to an hour. A first appointment may take a little longer in order for me to gather a full clinical history ~ there is no charge for this extra appointment time. I charge less for a child's appointment. All patients under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.

Acupuncture treatment costs may be able to be covered by health insurance plans, such as Westfield - but please first check with your healthcare provider.
I prefer cash or bank transfers but also accept credit/debit cards.
Please note that I do require at least 48 hours notice in which to cancel or amend an appointment. If less notice is given then I may ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit next time an appointment is made. I appreciate that things crop up unexpectedly in life but it's harder to fill an appointment time at short notice. Therefore please do tell me as soon as you think you may have a problem in attending.
Acupuncture
Gentle Healing...
Emma trained at the International College of Oriental Medicine, and so uses very few needles and in a very gentle way. Most patients will have a maximum of four needles, some only one or two - yet the effects are profound and long lasting. A lot of patients fall asleep during treatment!
Acupressure
Everything but the needles...
So you really can't be persuaded to try a couple of acupuncture needles? Don't worry because there's also acupressure - a very gentle light touch form of healing that doesn't involve the usual prickly bits! Patients that have chosen this route have still reported to Emma similar amazing results as per her acupuncture patients.
Fertility Acupuncture and Acupressure
It's funny how as soon as you decide to have a baby everyone around you seems to be falling pregnant...effortlessly! From Emma's personal experience trying to become pregnant is such an unexpected emotional roller coaster, whether or not you go down the route of using a fertility clinic.
Along with back pain, fertility acupuncture has a vast amount of published research demonstrating the benefits. It's also for people that are trying to conceive the natural way and not just for those that are undergoing IUI or IVF.
If you're thinking of starting or expanding a family then please do start having acupuncture as soon as possible. Do not just wait for embryo transfer time, for example, if using IVF. You never know, Emma has had patients that conceived naturally before they even started IVF!
Men also benefit from having acupuncture - they do play a part after all!!
Reiki Energy Healing
Let it flow...
Emma incorporates Reiki healing as part of the acupuncture or acupressure treatment session, however she can do this as a separate stand alone treatment. Please book an acupuncture treatment appointment but include a comment at the time of booking that Reiki is required instead.
