Acupuncture, one of the oldest systems of medicine, originated in China and other far eastern cultures where it still features in mainstream healthcare.

Emma Rose-Roberts works at Keeper's Cottage Clinic in Darfield (between Barnsley and Doncaster).

A lot of people have acupuncture for a specific reason, (such as back pain / sciatica, headaches / migraines, neck pain, insomnia, depression, infertility, tiredness, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, constipation / diarrhoea / IBS / IBD, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue), whilst other people have acupuncture for no particular reason other than to de-stress and give themselves a boost.

Patients often feel relaxed and sleepy during treatment.
