"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished" Lao Tzu

Acupuncture, one of the oldest systems of medicine, originated in China, Japan, Korea and other far eastern cultures where it still features in mainstream healthcare.

Emma Rose-Roberts works at Keeper's Cottage Clinic in Darfield (between Barnsley and Doncaster).

Patients often feel relaxed and sleepy during treatment. Emma is very gentle with her needling technique and often only uses 2 to 5 per treatment. Emma is also experienced in treating people with needle phobias and can use acupressure instead of direct needling.  Although so far, even the most needle phobic patients have comfortably managed to have a full "standard" treatment.

A lot of people have acupuncture for a specific reason, (such as back pain / sciatica, headaches / migraines, neck pain, insomnia, depression, infertility, tiredness, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, constipation / diarrhoea / IBS / IBD, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue), whilst other people have acupuncture for no particular reason other than to de-stress and give themselves a boost.
